Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

responsibility for providing health services for the Texas

Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for membership, located
in Webb, Jim Hogg, Zapata, and Duval Counties, Texas.
- Mercy Health Plans’ (MHP) last date of CHIP service
was on September 30, 2009.

current health benefits. The CHIP benefit package should

- Questions about claims for services received on or prior
to September 30, 2009, should be directed to MHP,
800-617-3433. Payments for services provided on or prior
to September 30, 2009 will be processed in accordance with
MHP contracts with providers.
